Deep Water
You arrive at a border town chasing the truth. The river keeps moving, the rooms stay too quiet, and something shifts beneath the floorboards. Each choice takes you forward, and each return asks what you are willing to risk to know more.
A short interactive horror story made in Twine (SugarCube). Click through branching paths to gather clues, build trust, and deepen suspicion. Death is not simply failure. It pulls you back into familiar scenes, where your understanding changes what you notice. Two endings await: stepping away for safety, or going further for the truth.
Playtime: ~15–30 minutes per run (depending on reading speed). Multiple endings, replay recommended.
Content warnings: psychological horror, death, insect eggs, mild body-horror implications.
